Cheer’s sire, Caletto I, was a Grand Prix Jumper Champion in his native Germany.  Cheer’s dam, Hataere by Sable Skinflint, was an International Open Jumper Champion.  Cheer himself consistently placed on the West Coast Grand Prix circuit during his show jumping career and passes on to his foals a wonderful temperament and great athletic ability.

            Cheer’s sons and daughters have won and consistently placed in all levels of jumper competition, the Hunter Divisions and International Jumper Futurity.  They include, among others, Grand Prix winner Cheerio, Grand Prix placed Carolus Magnus, Jumper Champions Cattrick, Pinon Jakleen, Heiress, Cimarron, Charger, and Lady-in-Waiting who placed first and second in Five-Year-Old Jumper Classics in 2001; the 2003 Four-Year-Old IJF Western Best Movement/Type Reserve Champion Cheer’s Challenge; the 2001 Four-Year-Old IJF Western Best Movement/Type Champion Miniver; the 2000 Four-Year-Old IJF Western Best Performance Champion Cheer’s Playboy; Hunter Champions A Cheerleader, Crimson Cheer, Cheer Me On, Ingrid, Keep Smiling, Kenda, Kaleidoscope, Kineta, Cheer’s Jubilee, Can’t Touch This and Cheerful, an IJF Five and Six-Year-Old Western Finals Stake Winner; IJF Five and Six-Year-Old Classic placed Fontana and Capistrano, IJF Top Ten placed Golden Girl, French Kiss, Cee My Zee, and Justine; Hunter Winner Cheer’s Gold and Hunter Breeding Champions Irish Cheer and L’Etoile.

            Cheer is a brother-in-blood to Canterbury, 1996 IJF Western Regional Champion.

            Cheer is nominated for the International Jumper Futurity.
