Canaletto S placed second
in the $2500 Britton Family Intermediate Jumper Stake and
seventh in the $15,000 Alberta Treasury Branches “Albertan”
at the Spruce Meadows North American in 1995. In 1994,
Canaletto S was Reserve Grand Champion Modified Jumper
at the Desert Circuit series at Indio and placed in the
PCHA/Jimmy Williams Futures Desert Circuit II and the Desert
Circuit IV, the Del Mar National and the Sandstone Classic.
Canaletto S’ daughter, Pinon Canella,
was the 1997 International Jumper Futurity Western Regional
Four-Year-Old Reserve Champion; and his son, Candido,
placed in the Top Ten in the IJF Western Regional and Western
International for Four-Year-Olds in 1997. Another son,
Jumper Champion Cash Out, was Low Modified Jumper
Champion at The Oaks/Blenheim Summer Classic II in 1999
and placed in the Top Ten in the IJF for Four-Year-Olds
in 1998. Another son, Chase the Wind, placed well
in Jumpers in 2001 and 2002. Another daughter, Moscow
Ballet, was a winner in Training I Jumpers in 2002 and
2003. Canaletto S’ daughter, Night Light,
was a Pre-Green Hunter Winner in 2003.
Canaletto S is a brother-in-blood to Classic
Touch, winner of the Individual Show Jumping Gold Medal
in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona; Contender, the
American Holsteiner Horse Association’s NGH Award winner
for 1994 and the EMO Agency, Inc. 1994 PCHA Grand Prix Horse
of the Year, and Casanova, a Grand Prix award winner.
Canaletto S is nominated for the International
Jumper Futurity.
