| For
many years The Oaks has been acquiring Holsteiner stallions
with world class European jumping blood lines. Although
the great International Grand Prix Jumper Champion and
sire South Pacific died on April 15,
1998, at age 16, he is still The Oaks flagship stallion
of our fleet of world class Holsteiner stallions. The
Oaks maintains a frozen semen bank from South
Pacific and other stallions we have previously
owned. Today nine of our world class Holsteiner stallions
stand at stud in Valley Center, California. With the
Jockey Clubs newly established recognition of
half-Thoroughbred sport horses through their Performance
Horse Registry (PHR), breeding to these top sires is
now an attractive opportunity for both Thoroughbred
and Holsteiner mare owners alike. The Oaks presently
offers bookings to their stallions listed below with
the exception of South Pacific, by frozen
or fresh cooled semen, all with live foal guarantees. |
